The Reason for God →

Timothy Keller is a pastor in New York City. In 2008 he wrote a book called The Reason for God. He’s written many (and I mean many) since then. But none that I’ve read have even come close to this one.

And that’s saying something. He writes excellent books. Time after time after time.

The Prodigal God gave me a wonderful perspective on arguably the most important of Jesus’ parables. Prayer immensely impacted my prayer life.

But none has had the impact of The Reason for God. This book changed me. It changed the way I thought about Christianity. It helped me to see it for what it really is.

It helped me understand grace. Probably for the first time.

I couldn’t recommend this book enough. Hence, it’s this month’s recommended book.

Find it on Amazon here.

(And you know what, he’s written another, just in time for Christmas. It might not be a bad idea to check this one out too. I certainly am.)
